Myself and my team have all receive their first vaccine doses and so should you. We're all under 40 and rolled up our sleeves to get vaccinated because it's the only way out of this pandemic.

National Cabinet has agreed on restrictions loosening once we hit 70%, and then 80% of people vaccinated, so please do your part.

This is why my team got it:

✅ Nathan - I got jab to keep myself, my family and my community safe against this virus.
✅ Brett - I got Astra Zeneca because the sooner we’re all vaccinated, the sooner this is over.
✅ Althea - I got vaccinated because it means that I can safely socialise with my friends.
✅ Josh - I felt that if my grandparents were getting the jab, then I should do my part for my country.
✅ Sarah - I got the jab because my kids and my community need me fighting fit to tackle the challenges that come our way.
Victoria’s state-run vaccination centres are being supercharged, allowing us to deliver more vaccines into the arms of Victorians as soon as more supply is provided by the Commonwealth.

The closest state-run vaccination centre in Wyndham is at Eagle Stadium in Werribee. You can book in for your jab at the indoor vax hub or do it from the comfort of your vehicle - like fast food.

Book your appointment by visiting coronavirus.vic.gov.au or by phoning the Coronavirus Hotline on 1800 675 398.

Final Year Secondary Students can also call 1800 434 144 for dedicated assistance to book an appointment.

REMINDER: All people aged 16 and over are now eligible for a vaccine.

Final year students - it's time to roll up your sleeves.

Year 12s as well as Year 11s studying a Year 12 subject - can now book a priority vaccination.

There is a dedicated appointment booking hotline for final year students.

Tarneit Rise Primary School is getting a new inclusive playground!
Inclusive education is about ensuring that all students can fully participate, learn, develop and succeed - because that's what every kid deserves.
It’s one of the heaviest lifts ever achieved by our level crossing removal team, and it happened right here in Hoppers. This month, we fit out the bridge and the lift shafts for the overpass. Works will also continue on our new road bridge, including retaining walls and the bridge approach.

We promised to fast track the removal of this level crossing by 2022. And that’s exactly what we’re getting on and doing.
Lockdown didn't stop my monthly Young Women's Round Table! We discussed important issues that affect women in Victoria like the recent decriminalisation of sex work, COVID, job keeper and much more.
The Victorian Youth Congress is held yearly for young Victorians aged 12-25.

It advises the Minister or Youth and put young people's ideas at the centre of government decision-making.

Members of the 2022 team will have a chance to help implement Victoria's new youth strategy, and gain insight into how government works.

Applications close on 13 September.

I’ve set up a volunteer registry of folks keen to help plant trees across our community, if you're interested click the link below to sign up and help.
Good news!

We’re delivering new and upgraded car parking and bicycle facilities to Tarneit Station.

Consultation for the car park began Monday 30 August, with feedback being sought online via Engage Vic, and through paper-based responses. Consultation will be open for three weeks, with submissions closing Monday 20 September.

The purpose of the engagement is to:
  • Capture community feedback on the proposed design layout.
  • Provide the basis for the consultation report which is submitted to the Minister for Planning.
